More trouble for Keshavarao's son
Hyderabad, October 29, 2007The Crime Investigation Department (CID) which is probing the alleged murder of a relator Prashant Reddy at the hands of K Keshavarao's son K Venkata Rao on Monday ruled out the possibility of a suicide. In a report submitted to the AP State Human Rights Commission (APSHRC), it said that the investigation so far rules out a case of suicide. The CID pointed out that there are no eye witnesses in the incident and clarified that it would go about the case based on the circumstantial and scientific evidence.
The CID termed the allegations levelled by Preeti, second wife of Prashant Reddy, that the CID had insulted and harassed her as concocted and untrue. On the other hand, alleging that Keshava Rao and his family members were trying to influence investigators, Prashant Reddy's first wife Vilasini's brother, Vinayak Reddy said that he would approach the High Court seeking prosecution of Keshava Rao and his family and also accused Venkat, his wife and maid servant of misleading the investigators.
It may be recalled that Vilasini approached the APSHRC on October 12 and the Commission Chairman Justice B Subhashan Reddy posted the hearing to November 12 after handing over a copy of the two page CID report to Vilasini and Vinayak Reddy. He directed Vilasini to go through the report and come up with objections if any.
