Hyderabad, October 28, 2007

The Chief Minister's brother-in-law P Chandra Pratap Reddy was killed in a road accident near Tumkur in Karnakta on Saturday while he was on his way to Bangalore Airport killing him on the spot along with the driver. He is the younger brother of Dr. Y S Rajasekhara Reddy's wife Vijayalakshmi as also of Kadapa Mayor P Ravindranath Reddy.

He was looking after the business interests of Ravindranath Reddy and arrangements are on the way to shift the body to Kadapa after postmortem. The Chief Minister who is scheduled to inaugurate the Alisagar Lift Irrigation scheme on Sunday cancelled his programme and will proceed to Kadapa to attend the funeral of his brother in law.
