TRCC leaders disappointed over Moily on Separate Telangana

TRCC committee could not meet Veerappa Moily at Gandhi Bhavan

Hyderabad, October 26, 2007

The leaders of the Telangana Regional Congress Committee (TRCC) were disappointed on Friday when they met Veerappa Moily, the party State Affairs in charge, not keeping his promise to come to Gandhi Bhavan to interact with them in the evening.

He is scheduled to leave Hyderabad by 4pm postponed his departure by two hours to accommodate one on one meeting with party leaders who wanted to meet him. The delay caused by the ceremony to mark Danam Nagender taking over as president of party unit for Greater Hyderabad resulted him skipping Gandhi Bhavan engagement in the evening.

TRCC leaders who waited from almost more than one and half hours left the Party office disappointed. Govardhan Reddy speaking to media said that they were demanding Telangana State at the earliest as the sentiment is strong and the party might pay a heavy price in the region.
