Backward classes panel hearing on October 27

Hyderabad, October 22, 2007

The National Commission for Backward Classes will hold a public hearing on October 27 regarding the requests received from several casts/communities to include them in the Central list of BCs from Andhra Pradesh. The hearing will be held at the Damodaram Sanjivaiah Sankshema Bhavan at 11am in Hyderabad.

According to a press release issued by the BC Welfare department on Monday, the castes/communities/sub-castes to be included in the hearing. Associations or organizations or individuals of the castes or sub castes seeking to include can appear before the Commission and furnish all available information and data, said the statement.
