Hyderabad, October 17, 2007

The officials of Anti Corruption Bureau on Monday arrested P Narasaiah, working as Joint Director in th Office of the Director of Town and Country Planning on the charge of amassing wealth illegally. Searches at his office, house an residences of his relatives revealed that he acquired properties worth over Rs.1 crore that were disproportionate to his known sources of income.

In another case, the ACB officials arrested Sylvester, a senior assistant working in the office of Rajendranagar Tahasildar on the charge of accepting a bribe of Rs.10,000 according to sources.
