Anantapur, October 15, 2007

Two people died when when their car met with an accident hitting a lorry at the SV University Campus in Anantapur. Three others are severely injured while seven others are partially injured. The injured are rushed to various hospital. All the people who met with the accident belong to the same family from Prakasam district and are on an excursion tour enjoying their Dushera holidays. The family is on its way to Prasanthi Nilayam in Anantapur when the accident happened.

The accident happened when a lorry coming from Dharnavaram hit the Ford Icon car in which the family are travelling. The mother and son died on the spot. Itukulapalle CI John Manohar is investigating the case.
