Warangal, October 13, 2007

Senior leader of the Telugu Desam Party (TDP) and former Minister Kadiyam Srihari and many other party workers are arrested in Warangal for entering into Tirumala Hatcheries and damaging the compound wall. The Minister and other are out on bail in the afternoon. Tirumala Hatcheries belongs to Major Irrigations Minister Ponnala Lakshmaiah.

With news spreading like forest fire, scores of TDP workers in various mandals of Warangal staged dharnas and agitation against the harsh action of the police at various mandal headquarters.
