Hyderabad, October 12, 2007Justice S Ananda Reddy on Friday took charge as the Lokayukta at a ceremony in Raj Bhavan. The Governor ND Tiwari administered oath of office and secrecy. The Chief Minister, Dr. YS Rajasekhara Reddy, Finance Minister, K Rosaiah, Chief Justice of AP High Court GS Singhvi, former Lokayukta Ramanujam and sever judges attended the swearing in ceremony.
Ananda Reddy, a law graduate from Nellore, has years of experience as an advocate and is considered as an expert in the matters of civil, writs and labor cases. He gradually progressed from an Advocate to a Judge and later as a Judge in the High Court
