According to a press release, the Indian Association of Secretaries and Administrative Professionals (IASAP) in association with Hyderabad Marriot is celebrating Boss' Day on October 13, 2007. This is a major annual event of IASAP and is celebrated by all its chapters.
National Boss's Day is celebrated across the world and it was started in 1958 by Patricia Bays Haroski, an Illinois secretary. She was an appreciative daughter who had worked for her father whose birthday was on October 16. This is how National Boss's day became the day to honor bosses.
IASAP will pay tributes to the contribution of bosses in helping the administrative professionals identify their strengths and focus on them to assume higher responsibilities. The theme of the year is 'Technology: History and Destiny' . The even is being hosted by Hyderabad Marriott. ISB Dean M Ramamohana Rao will be the chief guest on the occasion.
