Death toll in cracker unit blast rises

Three more deaths reported

It may be recalled that the illegal fire cracker manufacturing unit at Chaknawadi in Shahinayathgunj last week where an explosion took place claiming eight lives. Three more children were died on Tuesday taking the death toll to 11.

While the condition of two more injured children who are undergoing treatment at a corporate hospital are said to be serious condition. The three children who died are Gopal aged 13 years, studying seventh standard and a 14 year old Srihari who is also studying seventh standard and and a 12 year old Parusuram, a casual worker at the illegal unit.
