New facility to speed up investigation
Vijayanagaram, November 5, 2007
The Superintendent of Police, V Vikram Singh Mann on Monday inaugurated the Police messaging system which is crucial for detection of crime and speedy achievement of desired results.
Speaking on the occasion, the SP said that the messaging system would be more helpful in speedy investigation and would be extended to all the police stations in the district. According to him, the system helps the policemen exchange information like minute details like vehicle numbers, their make, owners etc., in case investigation.
The Superintendent of Police also inaugurated a rest house for CRPF personnel that was built at a cost of Rs.15 lakhs. The Police Housing Board DE KV Prasad and Additional SP (Operations) N Ravindra were present on the occasion.
