Hyderabad, November 4, 2007The Chief Minster, Dr.YS Rajasekhara Reddy after returning from Nizamabad Tour head a meeting with senior Cabinet Colleagues including Finance and Legislative Affairs Minister K Rosaiah including the Chief Secretary J Harinarayan at his camp office intendended to finalize the strategy to counter the Opposition onslaught in the House. He directed all the members to be present in the House well before time for the winter session of the AP State Assembly. He also directed the senior officials not to leave their posts without his permission.
The Legislative Affairs Minister, K Rosaiah speaking to media said six bills, some to replace ordinances would be introduced during the ten day long session. The Chief Minister also interacted with some of the Congress MLAs and called upon the members to enhance the prestige of the House by taking up meaningful discussions and people's issues and not to waste time in the name of adjournments.
He asked the Government Chief Whip N Kiran Kumar Reddy to get the members prepared on various subjects and suggestions during the sessions. The Chief Minister said that he will abide by the decisions of the Speaker and cooperate for the smooth conduct of the House. The Chief Minister expressed his willingness o appointment of a nodal agency to look into the welfare of SCs and STs.
