Former Karnataka Governor Rama Devi to confer the Puraskar

Vijayanagaram, November 24, 2007

Speaking to media persons on Saturday, Gurajada Samskrutika Samakhya secretary K Prakash said the noted film producer and writer MS Reddy will be conferred Gurajada Visishta Puraskar-2007 by former Karnataka Governor Ramadevi at a function to be organized on November 30 at Gurajada Kalakshetram.

He said that writers and artists would take out a rally from Gurajada Apparao’s house and pay tributes to his statue at Maharaja College. On this occasion, essay writing and elocution competitions will be conducted.

The other receiptants include actors JV Somayajulu, Gummadi Venkateswara Rao, Shahukar Janaki, writers Gollapudi Maruti Rao, C Narayana Reddy and director K Viswanath.
