Hyderabad, November 18, 2007

The Lok Satta Party, as a part of its effort to make a corruption free society has decided to disclose the assets and liabilities of MLAs on December 9 - the day that coincides with the UN Designated International Anti Corruption Day.

The Lok Satta National Co-ordinator Jayaprakash Narayan kick started a state-wide Anti-Corruption Movement by the party under the aegis of Yuva Satta wing on Sunday. Speaking to media, he said that the party will honor two senior politicians with impeccable character and integrity the same day to drive home the message that politics can be pursued even by the honest. He added that corruption could be eliminated from the public life and that the root cause of corruption lay in the political system.
