Minister for Municipal Administration informed in the House
Hyderabad, November 16, 2007
The State Government had realized Rs.934.41 crore and Rs.250 crore from the auction of lands by Hyderabad and Visakhapatnam Urban Development Authorities respectively through auction of lands during the past four years.
Informing the same in a written answer to T.Devender Goud of TDP and others, Municipal Administration Minister, Koneru Ranga Rao said the HUDA has sold 169.62 acres while VUDA sold 227.49 acres and the Kakatiya Urban Development Authority, Warangal 20 acres.
The Minister for Rural Development, G Chinna Reddy informed Devineni Rajasekhar of Congress that the rural connectivity, to prove all weather access was permissible under Schedule I of NREGA and 1722 cement concrete roads were proposed to be taken up in 5166 villages in 16 districts.
