Hyderabad, November 14, 2007A Division Bench of the AP High Court comprising Justice Bilal Nazki and Justice Ramesh Ranganathan on Wednesday disposed the writ petition filed by Girijana Samakya convenor Shankar Naik on the rape of 11 tribal women at Vakapalli village in Paderu Agency area.
The Bench taking on record the report of the CID, which stated that the Grey hounds had gone for combing on that particular day to Vakapalli but had not committed the rape as alleged. The Bench while disposing off the writ petition directed the petitioner to approach the court for any appropriate orders in the future.
