Government issues orders

Hyderabad, May 7, 2007

The State Government on Monday issued orders for payment of bonus/ex-gratia to thousands of eligible APSRTC casual and contract workers. Each worker would get a maximum of Rs. 2500 towards bonus which will be paid on May 12 according to APSRTC National Mazdoor Union leader Nageswara Rao.

An NMU delegation led by Nageswara Rao on Monday urged the Minister for Transport K. Lakshminarayana to regularize the casual workers as promised by the Chief Minister. The minister assured the delegation that the regularization of workers would be issued soon as the file would be signed on Chief Minister's return from his foreign tour.
