NRI's amongst top bidders
Warangal, May 28, 2007If you think that the real estate bug has bit only the metros and cosmopolitan areas, you may be wrongs. The real estate boom is everywhere, including small and little towns too. Of course, Warangal is not a small town anymore and the real estate craze here can be viewed from the way the plots are purchased.
The Kakatiya Urban Development Authority (KUDA) that began auctioning plots in Warangal starting Saturday attracted many, including Non-Resident Indians (NRI's). As many as 61 plots got encouraging bids in the first two days itself. KUDA has shortlisted 120 plots to auction as a part of the first phase of the auctioning process.
