Chief Minister directs officials to step up generation
Hyderabad, May 27, 2007
The Chief Minister, Dr.YS Rajasekhara Reddy at a review meeting with Special Secretary (Energy) AK Goel, Principal Secretary to Chief Minister Jannat Hussain and APTransco CMD Rachel Chatterjee on Sunday directed them to take all steps to ensure that power tariff is not hiked for the next five years to come.
The Chief Minister directed the officials to prepare a two pronged strategy of not enhancing he tariff and increase power generation to provide quality of power to all sectors. He also discussed the gas shortage for the gas based power plants.
