Barely a day after Chief Minister, Dr. YS Rajasekhara Reddy said that the Congress was prepared to go it alone in the next elections, APCC President D Srinivas, on his part, came up with a statement that the door of the party are always open to all opposition parties except the Telugu Desam Party (TDP) and the Bharateeya Janatha Party (BJP).

Panel to meet on May 23

Hyderabad, May 20, 2007

The Pradesh Congress Committee (PCC)'s Disciplinary Panel will be meeting under the Chairmanship of Singam Basavapnnaiah to consider and review the replies from three Congress legislators who were suspended recently from the party because of their inability to supporters the win of Congress candidates in the recent MLC elections.

It may be recalled that the three suspended legislators have individually met PCC President K. Keshava Rao and submitted their reply. The suspension of the three legislators have sparked protests from the supporters of the legislators recently.
