Hyderabad, May 20, 2007

With the stir of Madiga Reservation Porata Samithi (MRPS) going a bit too much on one side and the hunger strike of MRPS founder Krishna Madiga reaching fourth day on Sunday, the Chief Minister Dr. YS Rajasekhara Reddy has decided to call for an All-Party Meeting to discuss about SC categorization. Various groups including the MRPS are leading a struggle and brining pressure on the Government for the categorization of SC's into A, B, C and D groups.

Chief Minister Dr. Reddy asked Krishna Madiga to consider to end his hunger strike as the Government is considering to take the discussions on SC categorization forwards. On the other side, Krishna Madiga said that he will not end his hunger strike unless something happens materialistic happens.
