Telecom Customer care portal inaugurated

It will cater the needs of customers

Hyderabad, May 17, 2007

The Andhra Pradesh Telecommunications on Thursday launched its Customer Care Portal to meet the needs and requirements of its customers. In the new portal, the customers can register online for services including new phone and broadband connections, shifting of existing telephones, STD provisions and Caller Line Identification and other services.

The requests will be processed and the status updations from time to time are conveyed to the subscribers through e-mail alerts. The customers can access the portal from the AP Telecom website www.ap.bsnl.co.in and do a self registration free of cost. According to the AP Telecommunication Chief General Manager S Ramalingam who launched the portal, the customer would be given a unique ID after applying for the service so that he can keep track of the request.
