Barely a day after Chief Minister, Dr. YS Rajasekhara Reddy said that the Congress was prepared to go it alone in the next elections, APCC President D Srinivas, on his part, came up with a statement that the door of the party are always open to all opposition parties except the Telugu Desam Party (TDP) and the Bharateeya Janatha Party (BJP).

PCC passes four resolutions

Hyderabad, May 14, 2007

The Pradesh Congress Committee (PCC) on Monday passed four resolutions in the 'Re-dedication Day' programme held at Lal Bahadur Stadium. While claiming that the State Government under took various developmental measures during the last three years of it's rule, passed a political resolution to work unitedly for the welfare of the people and also to strength the party.

The PCC passed a resolution praising the Chief Minister for his successful completion of three years in office vis-a-vis putting in untiring efforts for the overall development of the State. In the fourth and final resolution, the party said that it took note of the challenges ahead and decided to strive unitedly to overcome them.

The PCC president K. Keshava Rao unveiled the draft copy of the 'Action-2009' to prepare the party cadre for the next general elections. He handed over the draft copy to the AICC general secretary Digvijay Singh and said that the copies will be sent to District Congress Committees for making suggestions.
