Barely a day after Chief Minister, Dr. YS Rajasekhara Reddy said that the Congress was prepared to go it alone in the next elections, APCC President D Srinivas, on his part, came up with a statement that the door of the party are always open to all opposition parties except the Telugu Desam Party (TDP) and the Bharateeya Janatha Party (BJP).

Fact sheet contains information on 36 major programs initiated by the Government

Hyderabad, May 13, 2007

The Minister for Information A. Ramanarayan Reddy along with six other ministers on Sunday released the fact sheet which highlights the welfare and development works taken up by the Congress Government. Speaking to media, the Information Minister said that TDP's allegations in the charge sheet as baseless. He said that the State Government has achieved overall development in all sectors, including agriculture, industries and IT and the government was prepared to discuss these matters in the State Legislative Assembly.

The fact sheet contained 36 major programmes initiated by the Congress Government including free supply of power, loans to women groups with low interest, irrigation projects, land distribution, health insurance sector scheme to the poor, National Rural Employment Guarantee Scheme and others. However, the Congress Legislative Party in a press release termed TDP chief as a villain.
