State of the art techno complex to be set up
Hyderabad, May 11, 2007Google Inc. entered into a memorandum of understanding with the State Government for setting up its centre in Hyderabad during Chief Minister, Dr.YS Rajasekhara Reddy's visit to Santa Clara in the United States on Wednesday. Google's online sales and operations director Roy Gilbert signed the MoU on behalf of the company while Information Technology department secretary SK Joshi represented the State Government.
As a part of the MoU, the State Government will allot 20 acres of land at Kokapet in Rajendranagar Mandal to the company according to a press release. Google, acclaimed as the world's best search engine with a market capitalization of over US $150 billion will set up its state of the art techno complex at Hyderabad. The company's present facility on a leased premises over 1000 employees and is the second biggest in the country. It is expected to house 4000 employees once it is fully operational.
