Elaborate arrangements made;15.13 lakh students to appear

Hyderabad, March 4, 2007

According to a press release issued from the Board of Intermediate Education that the Intermediate examinations to be held from Monday, nearly 15.13 lakh students are likely to appear for the examinations. The release said that 1981 colleges across the State have been constituted as examination centres and the Twin Cities are alone will have 154 examination centers.

The Board of Intermediate Education has set up District Examination Committee consisting of a Regional Inspection Officer, two principals and one Junior Lecturer for smooth conduct of the examinations. Flying and sitting squads with video cameras will monitor the conduct of the examination in all the centres. A Central Control Room has been set up at its office.

The release said that the candidates have been asked to report at the respective examination centres allotted to them atleast an half an hour before the scheduled time.
