Clearance for land allotment in Laxmipuram given

Kurnool, March 30, 2007

The Cabinet has given its approval for setting up a Greyhounds unit. The land for this unit will be alloted at Laxmipuram located in the outskirts of the Kurnool district. The 246 acres land will allow stationing of about 500 troops permanently.

A leading news daily says that the the site of Jagnannatha hill ranges is a perfect environment for training troops.
