The Chief Minister, Dr. YS Rajasekhara Reddy on Friday extended his warm greeting and felicitations to all Jains in the State on the occasion of Mahavir Jayanti on Saturday.
In a message, he said that Bhagawan Mahavir was an embodiment of spiritual attainment and bliss and the eternal values of peace, non violence and tolerance he preached are as relevant today as in the olden times.
He hoped that the sacred occasion would strengthen the bonds of love, compassion and mutual understanding among the people.
