36th National Safety Day Celebrations to be organized

State Factories and AP Chapter of National Council comes together to organize

Hyderabad, March 3, 2007

The State Department and the AP Chapter of National Council will jointly organize the 36th National Safety Day celebrations at Indira Priyadarshini Auditorium on Sunday. The Minister for Labour G Vinod will be the Chief Guest.

As a part of the celebrations, competitions have been held in essay writing, slogan writing and poster painting on safety, health and environment for schoolchildren and ITI, polytechnic and engineering students to cultivate safety culture in their minds at a formative age.

Similar competitions were conducted for employees of factories across the State. Best entries from different industries were invited. The Special Chief Secretary to the Government Asha Murty and Director of Fisheries R Koteswara Rao will also present for the celebrations.
