A foot over bridge being constructed outside the St Anns School on the ever busy Sardar Patel Road will be named after Rithika. Rithika, a kindergarten school student died when a lorry ran over her outside the school on August 11, 2005.
The Government of Andhra Pradesh and the Municipal Corporation of Hyderabad (MCH) took a serious view of the incident leading for authorities to speed up the construction of foot over bridges, particularly near schools.
