Independents bag all MLC elections graduate seats

Counting process takes about 60 hours

Hyderabad, March 27, 2007

After 60 hours of counting for MLC graduate seats, the results were declared on Tuesday wherein all Independents were declared elected. In this context, they were backed by opposition parties. Of the three results declared two went in favor of TRS and one to a CPM supported candidate. The remaining five gone in favor of independents backed by TDP and CPM.

The winners of graduate seats are K. Nageswararao, R. Satanarayana, MVS Sarma, V. Balasubamanyam, Ch. Varaprasad, M. Venktasiva Reddy, K. George Victor and K. Dilip Kumar. Independent candidate K. Nageswararao won in the Hyderabad-Rangareddy-Mahabubnagar districts graduates constituency, M. Venkatareddy declared elected from Anantapur, Kurnool and Kadapa districtrs constituency while Kishna-Guntur constituency went in favor of Ch. Varaprasad.
