Elaborate arrangements for the festival
Khammam, March 26, 2007The Bhadradri Temple was decked up with special festive glow as a part of the Sri Rama Navami festival to be celebrated on Tuesday. Temple authorities are expecting thousands of pilgrims from far off places in the State including from neighboring states of Orissa, Chattisgarh and Maharashtra. The authorities said that elaborate arrangements to ensure hassle free darshan for the devotees are put in place.
Chief Minister of Andhra Pradesh Dr YS Rajasekhara Reddy, Minister for Endowments, JC Diwakar Reddy along with some cabinet colleagues will take part in the festival. Devotees already stated pouring in right from the morning and nearly 2500 police personnel were deployed on duties to ensure no untoward incident takes place. Khammam District Collector Sashibushan Kumar and the Superintendent of Police Rajiv Kumar Meena are supervising the arrangements.
The Andhra Pradesh State Transport Corporation (APSRTC) has pressed more buses for the convenience of the devotees. The administration has kept ready for five lakh water packets of drinking water for distribution in the enclosures. Temple authorities are making arrangements for distribution of mutyala talambralu in all the enclosures.
