UTF candidates emerges winners in many regions

The counting process for the recently held AP Legislative Council elections began at the counting centers in the morning. Of the 8 teacher constituencies, 3 seats were won by the United Teachers Federation (UTF) and Progressive Recognized Teachers Union (PRTU) while independent candidates won the other two. Chukka Ramaiah, a man considered to by the IIT guru from Andhra Pradesh, B Mohana Reddy, P Sudhakar Reddy (all from PRTU) were amongst the winners.

The results of the Graduate constituency elections will be announced only by Monday afternoon as the counting process is going on a slow pace.
