Cuddapah, March 25, 2007

Chief Minister Dr. YS Rajasekhara Reddy said that the Government is committed at promoting education in the state and hence is proposing setting up 21st century Gurukulams in all districts of the state. He announced three IIIT Growth Centres to come up soon. These announcements are made at a program at Idupulapaya where the Chief Minister laid that foundation stone for the West Campus of the recently set up Yogi Vemana University.

The Chief Minister said that the Idupulapaya will be turned into a Tourism and Education Centre and said that an IIIT Growth Centre, Gurukulam, YV University West Campus alongside development of the local Sri Prasanna Anjaneya Temple and Eco-tourism will be taken up.
