Hyderabad, March 22, 2007

Cross voting in the Andhra Pradesh Legislature Council elections has led Telangana Rashtriya Samithi nominee Sudarshan Rao to receive a setback when some of the MLAs of the party might have votes for a nominee from Congress or Telugu Desam Party.

The results of the MLA elected MLC members were out. All nominees from the Congress and the TDP party managed to win. The lone winner from TRS was HA Rehman. Out of the 31 MLC candidate positions who can win, 32 nominations were filed which lead to voting.
