High Court asks for Action Taken Report on traffic rules implementation

Government and Police asked to submit affidavit

A Division Bench of the Andhra Pradesh High Court has asked the Government of Andhra Pradesh and the Police to file affidavits on action taken report (ATR) on the implementation of some of the directions given by the High Court. The Division bench was comprised by Chief Justice GS Singhvi and Justice CV Nagarjuna Reddy

The Government and the Police authorities now have to file the ATR on the implementation of the compulsory helmet rule for two-wheeler drivers, seat belt rule for four-wheeler driver, non usage of buses and other vehicles that are over 14 years old etc.
