To complete enquiry in six days
Hyderabad, March 22, 2007A team comprising the Chief Electoral Officers from Tamil Nadu and Karanataka will be visiting nine districts to probe into any irregularities, if any, in nine districts where MLC elections were held recently. The team comprises Naresh Gupta and R. Ramaseshan who will conduct inquiry and submit a report on their findings to the Chief Election Commissioner in about six days time.
It may be recalled that the commission has receive complains from representatives of political parties and the public in general that an open ballot poll was held which is against the election norms.
