National Meritorious Performance Award Presented
Hyderabad, March 21, 2007The National Meritorious Performance Awards instituted by the Union Ministry of Power, NTPC limited have bagged the prestigious award. NTPC Ramagundam and Simhadri have received Gold Award for 2004-05 and 2005-2006, NTPC-Kobra the Silver Award for 2004-05 while NTPC Singrauli and Unchahar receive Bronze Award for 2005-06.
The Prime Minister, Manmohan Singh presented these awards to NTPC Chairman and Managing Director T. Sankaralingam and General Managers of the respective stations at a function held at New Delhi. The Union Minister for Power Sushilkumar Shinde was present at the function.
