T. Subbirami Reddy writes to Prime Minister

Hyderabad, March 2, 2007

The Union Minister of State for Mines T. Subbirami Reddy urges the Prime Minister, Man Mohan Singh to introduce another Garib Rath train between Raipur and Secunderabad via Visakhapatnam. In a letter addressed to the Prime Minister, he sought the extension of New Delhi-Puri Purushottam Express to Visakhapatnam.

He demands include New Delhi-Samantha Express to be operated daily instead of thrice in a week while Bhubaneswar-Chennai weekly express should be made daily. He asked the Prime Minister to provide centrally air-conditioned computerized reservation complex at Visakhapatnam.

He appealed the PM to provide adequate funds to complete the construction of platform no.7 and 8 which were left midway at Visakhapatnam and also provide funds for the development of Duvvada Railway Station.
