Hyderabad, March 2, 2007
The Andhra Pradesh State Legal Services Authority (APLSA) will be setting up six Permanent Lok Adalts (PLAs) at Hyderabad, Karimnagar, Guntur, Visakhapatnam, Chittoor and Kadapa in the first phase.
The Executive Chairman of APLSA Justice Bilal Nazki will inaugurate them at Kadapa. APLSA member secretary N. Vidya Prasad, the chairman of the PLAs who are of the cadre of the District Judge have been appointed and they are already functioning. The State Government also appoints the other members.
He said proposals are on to establish nine more PLAs in the next financial year and the required budgetary allocation have been made in the State Budget.
