CLP writes letter to CBI

Hyderabad, March 18, 2007

The Congress Legislature Party (CLP) has written a letter to the Central Bureau of Investigation (CBI) urging it to include the properties owned by Telugu Desam Party (TDP) leaders near the Outer Ring Road (ORR) project in its inquiry into the alleged irregularities in the alignment of the road.

In a letter written to the CBI, CLP executive member V. Vasant Kumar on Sunday said that he enclosed a nine-page list containing the names of the TDP leaders and their relatives who owned lands in the vicinity of the proposed ORR alignment. He also pointed out the one of the petitioners in the court was among them.
