Hyderabad, March 13, 2007

The Minister of School Education N. Rajya Lakshmi on Tuesday reviewed the arrangements for the SSC Examinations. In the meeting, a decision was taken that except the Superintendent, students should not be allowed to carry cell phones in the public examinations. Even invigilators are also barred to carry cell phones in the centres.

She said that hall ticket had been despatched to all the examination centres and they could be downloaded from the Internet and used. Instructions were given to issue hall tickets irrespective of their percentage of attendance. The Headmasters of all schools were directed to issue hall ticket by Friday and the DEOs should report the confirmation to the Director of Examination by Saturday itself.

She further added that special buses being arranged by the APSRTC on showing their hall tickets. The necessary steps for security arrangements had been made while carrying the question papers to the examination centres to prevent their leakage. Prohibitory orders under section 144 of the Cr.P.C would be clamped on all the centres. Those who do not receive hall tickets can be downloaded from various websites.
