Air Deccan operates daily flights

Flights be operated daily between Hyderabad and Bhubaneswar

Hyderabad, March 13, 2007

Air Deccan has announced new daily flights between Hyderabad and Bhubaneswar via Delhi and between Visakhapatnam and Bhubaneswar from March 26, 2007. This is the first time that Air Deccan is providing connectivity between Visakhapatnam and Bhubaneswar.

The Flight No. DN 607 will leave Hyderabad at 5.50am and reach Delhi at 7.50am and the Flight No.DN 608 will leave Delhi at 8.20am and reach Bhubaneswar at 10.20am. The same flight will leave Bhubaneswar at 10.50am and reaches Hyderabad at 12.15pm. The Flight DN 677 leaves Hyderabad at 4.20pm and reaches Bhubaneswar at 5.25pm and from Bhubaneswar it leaves at 6.15pm and reaches Delhi at 8.15pm. Flight No DN 678 will leave Delhi at 9pm and reach Bhubaneswar at 11pm. While the Air Deccan operates, Flight DN 405 leaves Visakhapatnam at 9.20am and reaches Bhubaneswar at 10.45am. Flight No. DN 406 will leave Bhubaneswar at 11am and reach Visakhapatnam at 12.25pm.

Speaking to media at a press conference on Tuesday, Air Deccan Chief Revenue Officer, Samyukth Sridharan said his airlines was the fastest growing low cost airline in the country and was covering 61 airports operating 300 flights a day. He further said that since inception, it carried over 8.7 million passengers and the numbers are growing everyday.
