Hyderabad, March 11, 2007The Telangana Rashtra Samithi (TRS) will organize a Telangana cultural festival from March 23 to 27 at Nizam College grounds. Speaking to media, the TRS president K. Chandrasekhara Rao said that the main aim is to revive the dying Telangana Culture.
He said that the present generation can witness the traditional Telangana in the festival including various dress styles of the region. Nearly 22 art forms of Telangana including Bonalu, Chindu Bhagavatam, Golla Suddulu, Burra Kathalu and tribal dances will be exhibited along with others.
He said arrangements were being made for nearly 40,000 people to witness the festival. Nirmal paintings and toys, Medak pearl will be exhibited. He requested the APSRTC to make arrangements for special buses to ply for the convenience of the visitors.
