Targets to Chief Minister and relatives
Adilabad, March 11, 2007The Telugu Desam Party (TDP) politburo member T. Devender Goud speaking at a news conference on Sunday said that a separate cell was set up at NTR Bhavan to receive complaints from the public on alleged forced acquisition of lands by the relatives of the Chief Minister, Dr. YS Rajasekhara Reddy. He said that the party leaders would respond immediately to complaints received from the public and the same may be lodged over phone 040-30699999.
He made this announcement in the wake of a complaint that 22 acre site was sought to be occupied by persons belonging to the friends of the Chief Minister. He said that similar complaints of attempts to occupy lands in Konduru in Kadapa district and Dendulur in West Godavari district by persons claiming such proximity to the Chief Minister.
Devender Goud led a team of party leaders to Keesaagutta in Ranga Reddy district and spoke to the aggrieved party, Mallesam, Balaiah and nine others who told them that attempts were being made to occupy 22 acres, allegedly by persons claiming to be friends of the Chief Minister.
