Government issues order

As the fatal accidents killing people are on the increase day by day, the State Government has decided to not to give bail drivers arrested for causing road mishaps. According to the usual practice was for the police to release the driver if the bonafide owners of the vehicle in the road accidents officer sureties.
According to new order, police were directed not to grant bail for drivers booked under sections 337, 338 and 304 (A) of IPC. This includes involvement in road accidents resulting in injuries and deaths.
The Joint Transport Commissioner, NV Subba Rao said that on an average 34 people were being killed every day in road accidents. He said that more than 11,000 people were killed 40,000 accidents last year and this year, till March, more than 3,500 accidents were reported. The Chief Minister, Dr. YS Rajasekhara Reddy expressed concern over the increasing number of road accidents. The proposal of the Superintendent of Police of Nalgonda, Vijay Kumar for using a crane on the highway immediately after the mishap, the police department has decided to hire a crane.
