Central Government declared Madikonda as SEZ
Warangal, June 6, 2007
The Central Government has declared the 30 acre land belonging to the APIIC at Madikonda as Special Economic Zone for the development of Information Technology Park in the Telangana Region. The Hanamkonda MP B Vinod Kumar welcomed the Centre's decision.
He said that IT Companies coming forward to set up their firms would get lot of tax concessions and other relaxations. He added that Warangal is in the Tier-II cities list of IT policy. With the outcome of the Centre's decision, the many software firms are expected to focus their attention towards the district.
In addition to abundant supply of qualified manpower, it is located very near to the State Capital and well connected via road, rail and air.
