Fresh GO No 399 issued
Hyderabad, June 5, 2007The State Government on Tuesday has issued guidelines for the transfer of employees in various departments for implementation of GO 610. The guidelines in the form of a fresh GO No. 399 to facilitate inter-local cadre transfer. The identification of a person to be repatriated should be on the basis of last in First to go, from out of the excess non local employees.
The GO issued by the Chief Secretary J Harinarayana directed al the departments to take action accordingly and complete the exercise by the end of the month. The order however, relaxed the ban on transfers particularly in the inter local cadre transfers. According to the fresh GO, the inter local cadre transfers should be treated as transfers in public interest as provided in the Presidential Order of 1975. While effecting transfers, if employees opt for mutual transfer, the same should be permitted.
The GO said that each administrative department should prepare a consolidated proposal for creation of supernumerary posts in this regard and such proposals should be finalized at the earliest and put up through Finance Department before the Cabinet in the next fifteen days.
