Chief Minister directs officials to commence work
Hyderabad, June 25, 2007The Chief Minister, Dr.YS Rajasekhara Reddy on Monday directed the officials to commence Bhu Bharati project in five more districts in the first phase beginning with Kadapa, Kurnool, Karimnagar, Srikakulam and Nellore districts during the current financial year. At present, the scheme is being implemented in Nizamabad district.
The proposed project in the above five districts is to be completed by the end of 2009. It will be implemented in the remaining districts in a phased manner. During the review of the progress of 'Bhu Bharati', the Chief Minister informed about the aspects like aerial photography, preparation of land parcel maps, village maps and involvement of local people in the project.
