Hyderabad, June 22, 2007

The 2006 'DSC Postula Sadhana Samithi (DSS), comprising of activists of the United Teachers' Federation and Democratic Youth Federation of India and Students' Federation of India on Friday staged a dharna demanding appointment of teachers selected under DSC 2006.

K Nageswar, teacher-MLC, inaugurated the protest programme in which I Venkateswara Rao UTF president, DYFI State president G Prasad, SFI leaders A Narasaiah, DSS president Sri Sri along with their activists took part.

Speaking at the gathering, they demanded filling of vacant posts. They criticized the Government for not appointing teachers, citing lack of service rules as an excuse.
